Insertion2

At first glance, the core features of Insertion2 don’t seem extraordinary. Large maps have been in Danger Zone, and choosing a spawn location isn’t new either. Even hostage rescue mode dates back to the earliest versions of CS. But combining these elements creates an entirely fresh and unusual experience. On this huge map, counter-terrorists must locate and rescue hostages. Forget the cramped, suffocating hallways of Office—Insertion2 offers open spaces, diverse environments, and plenty of room for tactical maneuvers.

Subway Smurfers

This year, Subway Surfers turns 13. Quite an old game, right? Luckily, there’s now a remake in CS2! Run along subway tracks, jump onto trains, and collect power-ups—all with enhanced graphics and within CS2 itself. You can play from both first-person and third-person perspectives, and let’s be real—the latter is something most CS players rarely experience!

Fruit Ninja – Aim Training

Just like Subway Surfers, Fruit Ninja – Aim Training is a CS2-powered remake of a classic game. Both maps were created by the same author, Lillykyu. In the original game, players had to slice fruit with a blade. On this map, you destroy fruit with firearms. It’s not only hilarious but also a solid warm-up for aiming practice.

Futsal

Sliced some fruit, rescued some hostages—now it’s time to chill and play some football. The Futsal map is perfect for that. You can tweak various settings, and the combination of CS2 movement mechanics with the ball’s chaotic physics turns 5v5 matches into a festival of fun.

Genshin Impact | PropHunt

This map flips CS2 gameplay on its head. As the name suggests, Genshin Impact | PropHunt introduces a Prop Hunt mode—a game of hide-and-seek with objects. At the start of each round, part of the players turn into movable objects and hide. The remaining players must find and eliminate them. The map is set in a city from Genshin Impact, packed with intricate details—making the hiding game a true challenge.

The Steam Workshop is full of incredible, high-quality maps. Most players only download training maps, but that’s a mistake! Besides shooting practice, CS2 offers opportunities for football, parkour, and even hide-and-seek. Grab a few friends and invite them to try out these awesome maps!
